In the 1980's he studied Woodcarving with Master Sculptor José Carbonell at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Orihuela. Later on he learnt the craft of Jewellery with a local jewel craftsman.

From an early age he's enjoyed drawing and has taught himself different techniques. Chinese Ink is his main medium, and he uses brushes, fountain pens, and all kind of miniature tools, to create characters that dance between fiction and reality. He enjoys digging into his inner world to conjure a universe where everything is possible. From all the different formats he works on, tiny books of miniatures are his favourite, for they allow him to create stories that are threaded with fantastic creatures.
